Mareeba is on tomorrow (1 Feb)!

I have just spoken with Kevin Moore at Mareeba, Kevin assures me the course is in good condition, the only wet spots are the lateral and water hazards.

The  volunteers are out grooming the course for tomorrow, so it is full steam ahead!!!!

Come out for a game tomorrow as we might not be out for a while if this next cyclone hits anywhere near us.

Happy New Year

Veteran Golfers

I hope you have enjoyed the festive season and ready to play Veterans Golf.  Tuesday 1^st February is the first game for 2011 and is being played at Mareeba Golf Club. Inside sources tell me the course is quite dry with some  water in the hazards. So it sounds good and if the weather is kind to us should be a great day.

As you probably are aware the Vets play fortnightly until April , then weekly for the rest of the year.

As I write this, there is talk of a possible cyclone late in the weekend, I will hopefully inform you again on Monday to what the situation is with Mareeba.

I would also ask those members who know other members not on email to inform them of the message particularly cancellations.
