President's Report & Results Cairns 1 Dec

The 2015 season of veterans golf was completed in fine style at the Cairns Golf Club today.

A 4 ball best ball stableford was played, followed by a Christmas lunch during which the prizes for the day were presented. There was 98 starters including 81 men and 17 ladies.

We were pleased to have some of our sponsors of the season present to enjoy golf and lunch, they were Katrin Nash of Drummond golf, Rusty Ellis of Brothers Leagues Club and Bob Westerman from Golf World.

The sponsor for today was DEBORAH DUFFY ESTATE AGENT and unfortunately Deborah was unable to attend.

For those who will miss their Tuesday golf, tableland summer of golf starts next week with a game at Millaa Millaa and the following week at Atherton. The complete draw is elsewhere on this site.

Mareeba Golf Club is also starting Friday golf to begin on 11^th December with both 9 and 18 hole events so call the club to book a tee time on 0740921528.

Veterans golf will resume on 2^nd February 2016 with a 4BBB at Mareeba.

All those present at the luncheon received a ball.
