FNQ Vets Captain and acting President Peter Wyatt welcomed all vets players to Mareeba this morning for the opening round of the 2023 season.
He thanks all his committee for the help he has received in preparing for this year. However , he made an appeal to any members who may be inclined, to step forward and offer their services as President and Vice President. These positions remain vacant.
Any Vets who may be considering this could give Peter a call on 0428554955 and he would be happy to discuss it.

VETS GOLF OPENING 2023 MAREEBA TUESDAY 31 JANUARY
The opening competition for 2023 was played in very tropical conditions at the Mareeba Golf Course this morning. The course was in excellent shape considering the amount of rainfall received this year. Particular mention should be made of the greens although being surprisingly fast they were very receptive to a well flighted approach shot. Special thanks to the head green keeper Michael , Jim and their team of helpers. We were warmly welcomed and catered for by Owen , Debbie and Robyn.
