What a difference a day makes? The weather on the Tablelands is glorious today and it will be next Tuesday when we go to Mossman for the first time this year. 

We play a single stableford for men and ladies for trophies by Cazalys

RESULTS ATHERTON 13 MAY 2025

 A diminished filed of 38 FNQVGA golfers took on the inclement weather at Atherton this morning and played a single stableford in trying conditions. It seems that even the locals take the opportunity of a "lie in" when the weather turns to mizzle, and had to be roused to open the clubhouse to the golfing tragics from the coast and other parts. 

In spite of the weather the course and the greens in particular were presented in tip top condition. Congratulations to Brendan, Stevie and the team.

RESULTS GORDONVALE 6 MAY 2025

 The weather was as threatening as a Donald Trump tariff attack this morning at the Gordonvale Golf Club when a reasonable field of 51 FNQVGA golfers (42 men and 9 ladies) played a single stableford. A very light sprinkle might have cooled down the last couple of groups, but in general all players finished unscathed. The course was beautifully lush and the greens were consistent. Congratulations to the green staff and club volunteers for presenting the course in such condition.
