MAREEBA TUESADAY 18 NOVEMBER AGM and STABLEFORD COMP.

 

 

 

 

The Annual General Meeting of the FNQVGA will be held on Tuesday 18 November, 8am Mareeba Golf Club, 1 Hampe Street Mareeba.

The meeting will be followed by a stableford competition for Men and Ladies. It will be a shotgun start  that will follow the AGM. Nominations  will be accepted from 7am and the Captain would like the draw to be completed by 7.30am.

GORDONVALE RESULTS TUESDAY 11 NOVEMBER 2025

An encouraging roll up of 63 FNQVGA golfers (52 men and 11 ladies) enjoyed the excellent challenge that the Gordonvale Golf Course is developing into. The club  must be very proud of the development of the course. Special thanks to Mel and Josh in the pro shop, and all the volunteers  on the course. 

We should also thank Rich Michalski for his sponsorship of the day.

Next week is the AGM in Mareeba, Could all players nominate by 7.30am before the start of the meeting at 8am. There will be a shotgun start following the meeting.

MOSSMAN MELBOURNE CUP RESULTS

 Mondayitis may have affected the turn out today , but 42 FNQVGA players (32 men and 10 ladies) battled the road works on what is often described as one of the most picturesque ocean drives in Australia, to play a single stableford on the beautiful Mossman Golf Club. The Newel Beach course obviously hasn't had any of the storms other clubs have had , so there was an ample amount of run in the fairways today. 

Thanks to Ralf in the pro shop who enjoyed the later start of 8am as much as our members did.
