Veteran Golfers

I think by this stage everybody living in the Far North has experienced a lot of rain. 

I spoke with Cairns Golf Club this morning they are keen to present the course in the best possible conditions for the Vets to play on.

The course at present is very wet, but there were players out there. The forecast is for more rain from Sunday.

We will review the situation early Monday morning, if the conditions are still bad we MAY postpone the game to the 8^th March, hoping for some better conditions.

A message will be posted on the blog and emails sent on Monday morning as to the outcome.

If the game at Cairns is postponed, Mareeba Golf Club may bring forward the Tablelands Summer of Golf game from the 8/3 to 1/3, depending on course conditions. I will advise in the Monday email and blog.
