The second and final round of the Oak Tree Cup was played in superb conditions at the Gordonvale Golf Club this morning. If you were unable to attend then we wish you a speedy recovery from what ever you are suffering from- it must be something serious to keep you away on such a glorious day!
We had the pleasure of the company of the Oak Tree Retirement Village, Cairns manager Glenn Donovan to wish all players good luck. Oak Tree Retirement Villages are now in their sixth year of sponsorship of this event, and, we think we have arrived at the best formula, playing in Gordonvale and presenting the winners at our annual presentation day. Thanks to Glenn and his team.
Gordonvale Golf Club is to be congratulated , especially Mel, Debbie, Erin and all the volunteers who had the course looking and playing a picture.
The results of the 36 Hole Oak Tree Cup will be published later in the week.
Next Week 9 June we move up to Mareeba to play our next consistency round. 8am start.
