Today the vets played a 4ball better
ball stroke at Atherton and the course was in perfect condition, for
which we thank the Atherton Golf Club.
We held a 4bbb to change the
tedium of single stableford week in and week out and I would be happy
to hear your feedback on this.
The sponsor for the day was Drummond
Golf and we thank them for the vouchers that the winners received. I
must remind members that vets membership allows you to become a
lifetime member of the Drummond Club for $10 (usually about $40).
This entitles you to discounts on purchases at the store which
quickly repay your joining fee as well as more benefits like golf
discounts at other courses and entry into Drummond golf events.
Today's event attracted a field of 55
men and 10 ladies including visitors; Ross Ellen and Stuart Schroter.
