Hi All,

The final round of the Savannah Cup will be held next Monday at Gordonvale. As can be seen by the progressive results published above, Betty Lou Pitt (5103 points) and Lily Shirmer (4729.5 points) have opened a wide gap on the rest of the field. With 400 points offering for 1^st place in the final round, there is a mathematical chance Lily can overhaul Betty Lou. Lily would have to win outright and Betty Lou get less than 83.5 points for this to happen. Good luck, ladies.

The Men's Division is a much closer race with Robin Tonks (2348.12), John Everall (2227.64) and Lou Siedle (2174.29) battling for the trophy. If Lou were to have a solo win and receive the maximum 400 points he would have a mathematical chance of claiming the trophy providing Robin and John don't score any major points. Whilst not counting Lou out, realistically Robin and John appear to have the front running. Should be a good battle. Good luck to all.

I will be away next week playing golf down the Murray River but I will make every endeavour to process the results and get them to Lou for publication on the Blog as soon as possible after the last round.
