Hi Members,
Today we played at Half Moon Bay Golf Club on Monday - we do this so that members are able to celebrate the Melbourne Cup if they wish. There were 60 players who participated - 48 men and 12 ladies. We welcomed 2 new members today -Doug Newitt ( a member at Half Moon Bay) and Lino Polo from Morwell Golf Club. We hope you enjoyed your game.
It was a very hot day with very little breeze - fluids were a priority today and everyone survived.
The course was in very good condition - the greens were very green and lush - some felt they were slow - it depends what you experience at your home course. Thanks to Grant (greenkeeper) and his crew. Thanks also to Daniel who provided members with their carts in the morning and also Steve who was at the bar when we came in at the end.
Our Winner and Runner- ups today received vouchers from Drummond Golf. Thanks to Darren and his staff for sponsoring once again.
Next week we play at Atherton - we hope to see you there.
