Due to the inclement weather and the heavy condition of the Cairns Golf Club , and after consulting with Oak Tree Village, Cairns manager , Glen Donovan, a decision was made this morning to postpone the final round of the Oak Tree Cup.
The final round will be now held at Cairns Golf Club on Tuesday 28 May.
In spite of the unfavorable conditions 45 hardy members( 36 men and 9 ladies) played an 18 Hole Stableford sponsored by the Reef Hotel Casino. Superintendent Dave and the greens staff have certainly been challenged this year to present a playable course. Thanks to Kane and his helpers in the Pro Shop and Chloe behind the Bar for your assistance.
