The FNQ Veteran Golfers played at Millaa Millaa Golf Club today. The course was in great condition and weather was perfect.
Only 50 Vets turned up to contest the prizes donated by Don & Dora McHardie of Millaa Millaa 5 Star Supermarket and Variety Store and Millaa Millaa Golf Club.
It was a disappointing number to attend given the excellent weather and course conditions.
We welcome 2 visitors Mick Lynch and Jim Smith.
Todays game marks the end of the 2010 Financial year for the Association, it is time to have a stocktake and compile reports for the AGM on 30th November 2010.
It is also time to open our books for 2011 membership, you can pay now or wait until we start our 2011 year. But remember when paying your membership to have your membership card available for validating .
Next game is at Half Moon Bay Golf Club on the MONDAY 1st November, then Mareeba Golf Club on Tuesday 9th November and Cairns Golf Club on Tuesday 16th November.
