President's Report

A reasonable field of 67 men and 14 ladies turned up on a beautiful clear day for a single stableford on the Tablelands.  The course had plenty of run on the fairways & although the greens were in the process of being thatched/sanded, the club was good enough to open the back 9 for us which was otherwise closed for greens renovation.  Congratulations to the greens staff.

Welcome to visitor ross Ellen of Gordonvale & new member Paul Foster of Millaa Millaa, bringing membership for the year up to 299.

Unfortunately, Capt Greg again had to disqualify people who had not signed their cards or failed to put their handicap on it.  Some of those had good scores.  PLEASE make sure your cards are properly completed before handing them in, as we genuinely hate disqualifying anyone for such a basic mistake.

Our next game is at Gordonvale on MONDAY (Tuesday being Melbourne Cup).
