President's Report

The third round of the Patron’s Trophy saw a reasonable field of 52 men & 13 ladies turn up on a beautiful day.   The course was in great condition that was a tribute to the volunteers who maintain it . There was good run on fairways that were still green & on which the balls sat up well and good greens.   Congratulations to all concerned.  (Unfortunately the drain gobbler was hungry today in our group & in others too from the comments, but if you will tempt providence….!)  In view of numbers only one male & one female division was awarded.

Thanks to Kennedy’s Betta Electrical for sponsoring the day and the ladies of the club who catered for us with some raisin bread to start, great sandwiches at lunch & ran the bar.

Welcome to visitors Russell Spencer of Calliope & Matt Lock of Babinda.

Handed in after being found on the course - one pair of clip on sun glasses.  See us at registration next week.

Our next game is a 2 ball Ambrose at Cairns to break things up a bit from single events.

See you there.
