President's Report & Results Atherton 29 Sep

The event today was played at Atherton and was the final round of the consistency trophy for the year. 73 men and 15 women played for prizes donated by DRUMMOND GOLF OF CAIRNS.

We welcomed visitors from Japan and Bargara.

I have been told that some players feel somewhat annoyed when they have to wait to be given a tee time when groups who have arrived after them are going to the tee. This occurs because some players enter as a group of 4 and we may have to wait to get another player or players to fill your group. Please be assured that we try to be an all inclusive club and we will not deliberately ignore you, so grab a cup of coffee and hopefully someone will sit and have a chat.

A sand iron was handed in today and the owner can contact Lou Siedle to arrange its return or collect it at Babinda next Tuesday.
