Due to ANZAC on Tuesday, this weeks Vets golf is at Half Moon Bay on Monday 24 April sponsored by Davidson Coaching. Mark Davidson will be playing and staying on to present trophies.
Did you know? The first dawn services to commemorate ANZAC Day were held in Albany WA at the instigation of Reverend Arthur Ernest White probably in 1923. The association with our region is that the Reverend White is buried at the Herberton cemetery. His grave is simply marked by a white cross with the inscription, Here lies a Priest.
