OAK TREE CUP ROUND 1 RESULTS

 

A great field of 63 FNQVGA golfers ( 52 men and 11 ladies and one more than last year) attacked Gordonvale Golf Course this morning in the opening round of the Oat Tree Cup, a 36 Hole Stableford competition. The weather was perfect and the course was well presented as expected following a very successful Cairns Hardware Competition over the weekend. If your putting confidence is in tatters after coping with the pin placement on No 16, applications for complimentary remedial therapy will be gratefully accepted, briefly considered and unceremoniously rejected - after all, we all had to play it!

Glen Donovan, Manager of Oak Tree Retirement Village Cairns  will be on hand next week when the concluding round is played., so please say "Hello."  For those who could not play today, there is a daily  Stableford Comp next week.
