President's Report

Despite an overcast start threatening rain, 75
men & 25 ladies turned up at Cairns for a 4BBB Stroke game.
The day cleared up & turned quite hot, which meant the greens remained fast! The course was in good condition with plenty of run on the fairways. Congratulations to the greens staff who maintain the course.
Thanks to Natalie & the caterers who looked after us well as usual & to Cazalys, our sponsor for the day.
Welcome to visitor Ross Ellen wo was too young to qualify for prizes, but we hope he enjoyed the day.
Next game is at Millaa Millaa on 22 Oct, which is a single stableford & the final round of our Patron's Trophy.
A range of new shirts were on display at registration in a variety of colours, with short & long sleeves, as well as sleeveless for ladies. Costs will be $35 for sleeved & $30 for the sleeveless ladies ones with our logo embroidered on them. Anyone wishing to purchase a shirt, please preorder with June Willmot & prepay for it by 12 Nov at Mareeba.
