President's Report & Results Gordonvale 20 June

Today we played a single stableford event at Gordonvale to count toward the Consistency trophy. The course is in excellent condition and the weather was pleasant to say the least. 

We had a field of 71 men and 18 ladies which included 3 visitors in Col Billingham, Keith Dudgeon and Geoff Palmer, welcome to those people as well as new members, Peter Anderson, Lesley Ross and Carol Howard. It was also good to see Tom and Marg Finch back for their annual pilgrimage north.

The sponsor today was DRUMMOND GOLF OF CAIRNS and I thank them for the store vouchers that the winners and runners up received.

MENS DIV1 WINNER; Greg Gibb 38 points. Note that Greg was only 2 strokes off scoring his age.
