The Cairns Golf Club hosted FNQVGA players and a visiting contingent of 23 Tropic Vets from the Tropics Golf Club, Townsville this morning. Once the initial precipitation cleared 70 players (50 men and 20 ladies) enjoyed the early spring weather and golfers were universal in their praise of the presentation of the course. A big thank you to the Cairns Club for your hospitality.
We had one new member join today John Burns from Cairns Golf Club, which brings our membership up to 190 for the year.
Next week we travel to Half Moon Bay Golf Club for the last Consistency Round. Tee off from 7am
