President's Report

94 men & 33 ladies made the most of a lovely cool day to play on a course in great condition.  Works being carried out on the course to repair some of the ravages caused by continual wet weather, which has only just cleared up, did not seem to interfere with play.  Congratulations to the greens staff & thanks to all who played for hitting off on time without being called.  It makes things simpler for the committee & assists the game to flow smoothly.

The Open continues tomorrow & we have a slightly larger field so please continue to hit off on time as you did today.
