HALF MOON BAY RESULTS TUESDAY 22 SEPTEMBER

 A good portion of the strong field of 70 FNQVGA players (57 men and 13 ladies) was on hand at the presentations this morning for Consistency XV. The weather was spectacular, HMB pro shop and bar  were very hospitable and the course was in great nick. Todd and Cath's Kitchen put a great finish to a very pleasurable day.

 Our sponsor today was Oak Tree Retirement Village Cairns , and we thank them for their generous support throughout the year.

We had one visitor today Bob Scott from Rich River Golf Club on the banks of the mighty Murray River at Moama.  We also had one new member today Paul Chiari from Millaa Millaa welcome Paul. With new additions and renewals our membership is up to 194!

We also had a pleasant surprise visit  from FNQVGA stalwart Russ Gill, who has been missing for a large part of the year while he has been giving  his Plastic Surgeon, Oncologist and Radiation Therapist  a fair examination of their knowledge and skills. Apparently they passed and Russ will be back to play next season.

It will be a pleasure to return to Yorkeys on 6 October  to play for Trophies sponsored by FNQVGA patron Claud Clark.
