President's Report

We had a good field of 100 men & 31 ladies at Cairns for our breakup day shotgun start & most stayed on for the Xmas breakup lunch. The course was in great condition & there was enough breeze to prevent it from getting too hot.

Thanks to the caterers who did an excellent job of having a plate of cold meats & salad, prawns & pudding served to all at the tables, with assistance from June & Lois, the bar staff who looked after us & to volunteer musician Warren who turned up unexpectedly to entertain us. Thanks also to Carlie Hatswell from Easylift, who sponsored the day, played & stayed to present the day's prizes.

Welcome to visitors & invited sponsors Karlie Hatswell & Sue Bond from Easylift, Katrin Nash from Drummond Golf, Melody Lucas from Savannah Lifestyle Resorts, Scott Payne from Health & Fitness Solutions & to Bernie Dalton from Half Moon Bay.  We were pleased you were able to come & enjoy a game & the meal with us.

Just a reminder that the opening of Savannah Lifestyle Resorts new Amenity Centre is on this Friday, Saturday & Sunday between 10am to 4pm. It's a pleasant drive up to Mareeba, so if you are considering lifestyle options, why not drop in & see what is on offer.

This was our final game for 2012 & it was great to see a good turnout at the game & lunch.

Final Game 2012 Cairns 4 Dec

All,

Tuesday is our final game for this season & is at Cairns golf club.

There will be a shotgun start at 0830 & the comp is a 2 ball Ambrose.

After the game we have our Xmas breakup lunch, which will be served at the tables.

Cost for the day inclusive of competition fees & lunch is $32 for members & $35 for guests.
