Hi members, today we played a stableford event and our sponsor was Reef Casino .It was a bit foggy and misty but the course was beautiful what a credit to Don and his workers .A big thanks to Margret and Huey for there work behind the scenes tea coffee food.

.We had 40 players 36 men and 4 lovely ladies

 We also had 1new member Graham Murray from Milla  Milla and 1 visitor John van Mastrigt  from Collinsville hope you enjoyed the day.

SECRETARY'S REPORT & RESULTS - GORDONVALE G.C - TUESDAY 19th JULY, 2022

 Hi Members, 

Today we played a Stableford round at Gordonvale G C - there were 65 members - 12  Ladies and 53 Men. We had 1 new member -Paul Shepherd from Gordonvale and we hope he enjoyed the day.

The weather was perfect and the course was in great condition . Thank you to Ben and their ground crew.- really no excuses today for a bad score. Thank you so much to Belle for her efforts as usual - she was very organised and efficient .Thank you to Bruce  for his help today.as well.  Even though we could not use upstairs for registration, it was not a  problem.

Our sponsor today was Drummond Golf and they have been excellent supporters of Veterans golf for many years now. If you need any golfing needs, please give them a visit.

Our next game is at Millaa Millaa - we look forward to seeing you there.

TODAYS EVENT WAS A STABLEFORD AT CAIRNS GOLF CLUB.

THERE WERE 81 PLAYERS 67 MEN, 14 LADIES.WE HAD 4 MEMBERS JAMES DAVIDSON, PHILLIP SMITH, JOTHI AND RAMA NAIDOO. 

ALSO THERE WAS ONE VISITOR NIGEL STORK FROM REDLANDS BAY.

BABINDA G.C. GAME - TOMORROW , JULY 5th - CANCELLED

 Hi Members, 

 After a phone call with Gabrielle ( President) at Babinda G.C , the decision was made to cancel tomorrow"s game. It is still very wet from last week's rain and more is expected. Carts were not allowed on the course. It is a long way to travel if the weather turns very wet tomorrow.

Please let those members, who do not read the blog, know that it is cancelled.

See you at Cairns G C next week.
