Will it be heavy underfoot? More than likely, but everywhere is at the moment with our extended wet season.

An encouraging field of 66 golfers (53 men and 13 ladies) played a 2 Ball Ambrose competition in ideal , if not a little warm conditions at Half Moon Bay this morning. The Yorkey's course was in commendable condition, with the greens offering a uniform surface and with very good pace. Well done to the green keeping staff and volunteers!
We had seven new players join us today, Carl and Vicki Beck, Andy and Evodia Hynes, Murray Goodman and George Kyriazis all from Half Moon Bay, and, Trevor Dunstan from Cairns. It was good to see Kay Cleland play her first game in almost twelve months following a broken ankle last year. Also, thank you to Russ Gill or writing up the board- he does a fair job for a mollydooker!
Our very generous returning sponsor was the Reef Hotel Casino. Remember you might win some but you will loose more- or something like that.
