Hi Members,
Today we played a Stableford round at Atherton Golf Club - there were 63 players who participated - 48 Men and 15 Ladies. The weather was perfect and the course was in great condition.
Our Sponsor today was Drummond Golf who have been loyal supporters of the Vets for a number of years now. If you need any golf gear, please talk to Darren and Georgia - I am sure they will help you with the best price.
We would like to thank Cheryl and Russell for being there at 6.30 am to help us with carts, food orders, and coffee// tea etc. Also thanks to Carl and his ground staff for the excellent condition of the course.We are also impressed with the improvements that are happening.
We have to notify members of a program date change and we apologise for the late notice but we only found out a few days ago . Due to a plumbing problem at Half Moon Bay golf course and as a reult they could only open 9 holes for us so we made a change.

Also Half Moon Bay will be charging $32 per cart from now on.

Due to a glitch, our President, Bill Matthews was unable to do the report on the blog today. Our game today was a Stableford round held at Cairns G.C. . We had 90 members take part - 73 Men and 17 ladies..
Despite a drizzly start today, the weather cleared and everyone completed their round dry. We hope you enjoyed the course and the scores reflected this.
Our Sponsor today was Cazaly's AFL and we really appreciate their sponsorship over the past years. We hope that you will support them with a meal or visit if you are able.
We also need to thank Chloe and her staff for setting up for us and providing coffee, drinks and food for us today. Thank you also to Tim and his ground staff for the excellent condition of the course following the irrigation system being completed. Thank you Josh and the pro shop for getting our members with their carts for the day,

Today Milla Milla gave us a typical Milla day fog misty rain bit of sun all the things that make it beautiful.
