ROUND 2 OAK TREE CUP POSTPONED : RESULTS

 Due to the inclement weather and the heavy condition of the Cairns Golf Club , and after consulting with Oak Tree Village, Cairns manager , Glen Donovan, a decision was made this morning to postpone the final round of the Oak Tree Cup.

The final round will be now held at Cairns Golf Club on Tuesday 28 May. 

In spite of the unfavorable conditions 45 hardy members( 36 men and 9 ladies) played an 18 Hole Stableford sponsored by the Reef Hotel Casino.  Superintendent Dave and the greens staff have certainly been challenged this year to present a playable course. Thanks to Kane and his helpers in the Pro Shop and Chloe behind the Bar for your assistance.

We had one visitor today Paul Nobes from Glenelg (SA) as well as two new members Helen McLellan and Chris Ireland both from Cairns. Welcome!

RESULTS FIRST ROUND OAK TREE CUP TUESDAY 23 APRIL 2024

 A good field of 70 players (52 men and 18 ladies) completed the first round of the Oak Tree Cup at Cairns Golf Club on Tuesday. We had two new members join, Yvonne Gordon (well, returning actually) and Hiroko Stuart both from Cairns. Welcome ladies!
