President's Message 28th September 2010

All,

I thought the weather was going to be unkind to us again this morning, but it cleared up to be a very warm day, a bit on the humid side.

There were 121 Veteran Golfers started in today’s competition. The day was sponsored by Rob Brydon’s Pro Shop at Half Moon Bay G.C., thank you Rob and Staff.

The course was groomed to test the ability of all golfers. Thank you Half Moon Bay Golf Club for presenting such good course conditions.

Our next games are Tuesday 5th October 2010 at Gordonvale Golf Club followed on Tuesday 12th October at Mareeba Golf Club.

Committee Positions for 2010/11

The AGM on 30 November BEFORE the Gordonvale game will be on us before we know it, and the management committee is nominated at that meeting.

No doubt there will be many of our members who are eager to attain a position of such power and influence, so we are calling for nominations for positions on the management committee for the 2010/11 year in good time to enable them to start their lobbying!

President's Message 21st September 2010

All,

The event at Cairns Golf Club was well attended with 100 players. The weather wasn’t on our side again.

The course was in good condition, wet in places as you can imagine with the amount of rain we have had over the last few days

President's Message 14th September 2010

It was good to get back to Mossman Golf Club for a game of golf. Thank you Mossman G.C. for hosting our event, everybody I spoke to enjoyed the course and facilities and would like to go back.

98 players contested the Single Stableford event.
