Presidents Report
Thank you to Drummond Golf for sponsoring today's event at Cairn Golf Club and Katrin Nash from Drummonds for playing and presenting the prizes . The course is in great condition, although I found the greens were very slick. There were plenty of golfers who relished the conditions and posted very good scores.
147 golfers contested today's event, there were 35 women golfers in that field. It is pleasing to see the number of women in the Vets are increasing.
Thank you Cairns Golf Club for the excellent presentation of the course. Thank you also for the hospitality in the Clubhouse. The food was delicous, a lot of people waited back for the presentation, thank you.

Next Tuesday 20th September Mareeba Golf Club are hosting the event, it is a Single Stableford sponsored by TGT Hardware Mareeba, then Tuesday 27th September, Gordonvale Golf Club are hosting us for a Single Stableford.
