Report
The City of Cairns week
of competitions at the club just over meant the course was in fine
condition with greens very fast but true & the gardens coming on
apace. Well done to all involved.
After an overcast start,
the day cleared & the breeze got up to present challenging
conditions which were reflected in the scores. We had a good field
of 137, including 29 ladies & one membership renewal, which takes
our total for the year to date to 330.
Thanks to Natalie &
Toni for the usual catering & also providing a platter of
nibblies for each group on completion of their round. Thanks also to
Golf World for sponsoring the day.

round
of our Championship at Mareeba golf club on 21st August & another
stroke event.
(Please
note
that
to play in the Championship, a player must have been a financial
member of the Association for 3 months prior to the date of the
Championship & have played at least 3 events in our program.)
Each group will be
provided with a plate of nibblies at the end of their round again.
