Report
The sound of raindrops on
rooftops must have made some decide to turn over & go back to
sleep today, which was their loss as the day cleared up before play
began, so the 73 men & 19 ladies enjoyed a pleasant round playing
one of the 5 different types of competitions which were planned this year to
break up continuous stableford & stroke rounds.
The course was in far
better condition than the last time we played at Gordonvale, with
greens running true, fairways mown & rough a reasonable length,
although the continuing damp weather meant that the run we expect at
this time of year has not eventuated, so it is still playing quite
long & with water in the drains. Thanks to the greens staff & volunteers for a great
effort.

for their rep Katrin Nash for playing & staying to present the
prizes.
