73 men and 19 women played a stableford
event at Mareeba which was sponsored by
TGT hardware and timber of Mareeba who
supplied store vouchers for the winners and runners/up.
While the results were being calculated
by the captain, those present were treated to a brief talk and Q and A session by our member Peter
Yelland regarding the tragic crash of an Airbus A320 last week. Peter
has had many years experience as an airline pilot flying these
aircraft and I am sure that those present came home a little better
informed. Thanks Peter.
I would like to remind all members that
vets is now weekly and we will be at Gordonvale on the 7th of April.
Regards,
Roger
