President's Report & Results Gordonvale 16 Feb

Today we played our first single event for the season and despite the 36 degrees forecast 71 men and 18 women teed off on a very playable Gordonvale course, thanks to a less than wet “wet season”.

We thank our sponsor CAPE YORK ACCOUNTING for providing the Drummond golf vouchers that the winners took home.

I would like to advise members that our next game is at Half Moon Bay on March 1^st and remind you that carts are now available for the same hire fee that members pay, ie $30. If the season stays as hot as it has been then a cart may be a very good idea for us senior players.
