PRESIDENT
REPORT – GORDONVALE GOLF CLUB 21 May 19
Hi
Members,
Today`s
game was a single stableford event at GORDONVALE Golf Club, there
were 64 starters consisting of 50 men & 14 ladies. Members were
fortunate to enjoy favourable conditions and appreciated GGC staff`s
efforts in preparing for the Vets both inside and outside the
clubhouse.
Our
sponsor today was Brothers Leagues Club and feedback from our members
was only positive when visiting their establishment, Brothers support
to the Vets is much appreciated by all.
At
presentation I mentioned that there is now a numbers limit for the
Mirage game due to the fact that Mirage did not receive the extra
buggies as suggested so the player limit now is 84.
Having
said that Mirage have recently ordered extra buggies and they are
quietly confident that they may arrive in time for our game on 14
June, so anyone interested that has not yet nominated please give
your name to Bob at registration as Mirage will advise when/if
buggies arrive on time.
Next
weeks game will be at ATHERTON GOLF CLUB, I will be absent for the
next two games and hope to see you all at Mareeba on the 11th
June. I leave you in good hands, great golfing.
