REPORT – MILLAA MILLAA GOLF CLUB 03 Sep19
Hi
Members,
Today`s
game was a single stableford at the wonderful Millaa Millaa Golf
Club, there were 55 starters consisting of 48 men & 7 ladies.
There were two visitors, Graham Murray and Greg Taylor from Millaa
Millaa.
Today
saw some southerners finishing up with the FNQVGA for 2019 and
returning home to NSW after enjoying our fantastic weather, Rex &
Joy White and Tony Lattimore, safe journeys home and we will catch up
with you guys next year.
Many
thanks to all the staff at Millaa Millaa GC for having the course in
good condition albeit the greens were DEADLY and 3 putts were the
norm to the unsuspecting golfers. Most conversations in the clubhouse
provided some very descriptive verbs ( I think they were verbs)
regarding the greens.
Our
sponsor today was CAZALY`s AFL, a great sponsor to the Vets and even
better club to visit for those special occasions, appreciated by all
members.
No
ball run today as all players who remained for the presentations
received a ball for supporting the club and there was only one
division in mens today due to the low attendance.
Next
weeks game will be at CAIRNS Golf Club, hope to see you all there.
