In comfortable weather conditions 55 FNQVGA golfers (48 men and 7 ladies) attempted to blow a few more cobwebs out of the golfing pipes under the watchful eye of Djarragun at Gordonvale Golf Club this morning. The lush rough made it also a test of golfers sense of humor, and put a premium on hitting the fairway. Scores reflected this but as usual someone has a golden day and Jacques Rancourt brilliant 38 stableford points was the stand out.
