Results MAREEBA GOLF CLUB TUESDAY 22 JULY 2025

 Another great field of 52 players (43men and 9 ladies)who  traveled up the hill and through the carnage that is the Kuranda Range to play a single Stableford at the well appointed Mareeba Golf Club this morning. The weather was overcast with just a little mizzle that could hardly cool down some of the hot golf that was played. 

Course Superintendent Karl should be congratulated on how he presents the course. He is ably helped by a large team of volunteers- Gentleman Jim who does everything,  Rod who is the general consultant with 50 years of green keeping knowledge,  Kirra who rolled the greens this morning,  Bernie the Butcher  in change of weed spotting and hole placement and his understudy Charlie,  Michael who keeps the rough under control and is up skilling to tee mowing, Enid for rough cutting,  Peter who mowed the greens on Saturday morning. And others all under the watchful eye of Course greens director Michael.  A real team effort. 

We would also like to thank Brian in the clubhouse for his wonderful assistance with  buggies and sustenance. 

We should also thank everyone on the committee for the effort that is required in organizing our weekly matches.
