President's Report

A good field of 52 men & 14 ladies turned up on a beautiful day for the second round of the Patron's Trophy to a course in great condition, which was a tribute to the volunteers who maintain it. Congratulations to them all.  As there were under 60 men, only one division was awarded.

Thanks to Caalys AFL for sponsoring the day & to the ladies who looked after us with raisin toast & sausage rolls.

Welcome to visitor Kerry McDonald of Innisfail & new members Roy Murray-Prior of Atherton & Greg Taylor of Millaa Millaa, bringing our membership for the year to 294.

If anyone would like to revisit the course to see if they can better their scores, Millaa is holding an Open weekend on 20/21 Sep - entry forms at the club, or phone them on 40972117.

Our next game is a single stableford at Mareeba & hopefully the weather will remain as good as it was today.
